Paneer
The versatile cooking cheese ready for a marinade
Paneer, traditionally a South-East Asian cheese, is now widely enjoyed worldwide and featured in a diverse range of cuisines.
Its mild taste makes it a perfect flavour carrier, readily absorbing spices and other flavours, making it incredibly versatile for countless dishes. As a good source of protein and naturally vegetarian, Paneer is also an excellent meat substitute, ideal for flexitarian diets.
Much like halloumi, it is a non-melting cheese, which ensures it retains its shape beautifully during cooking. Futura Foods offers premium paneer wholesale, positioning us as your trusted fresh Indian cheese supplier. We produce paneer at our own Nordex dairy site in Denmark, offering a variety of sizes perfect for use in retail, foodservice, and manufacturing settings as a leading professional-grade paneer distributor.

Taste & Texture
Smooth, firm, and caramelises to perfection
Paneer has a smooth, firm, soft, and springy texture with a clean, mild milky flavour. Its primary strength lies in its ability to carry other flavours, whether from a dry rub or a rich sauce. When cooked, it reliably keeps its shape and does not melt, making it incredibly easy to work with.
If placed on direct heat, the outside will caramelise and develop a delicious golden-brown crust, enhancing its flavour, while the middle remains soft and tender. It is ideal for frying, grilling, baking, or even on the BBQ. For an extra crunch, it can also be coated in breadcrumbs before frying. And it works just as well cubed raw and then mixed directly into a sauce, retaining its shape and softness while soaking up juices and flavours.
This white, pasteurised, and vegetarian cheese is available in restaurant-quality paneer blocks and culinary-grade paneer varieties, great for every kitchen.

How it’s made
Simply Crafted from Cow’s Milk
Paneer is a cow’s milk cheese traditionally made in India by using lemon juice or other similar acid to curdle the milk, which then separates the curds from the whey. The curds are then pressed into their firm form.
Futura Foods is proud to produce Paneer at our own Nordex dairy site in Denmark, where we always ensure quality and consistency.
We offer a variety of sizes and formats to suit the diverse needs of our retail, foodservice, and manufacturing customers.
