Greek Feta
Tangy, crumbly, versatile
Your premium feta cheese importer, we supply Protected Destination of Origin (PDO) feta, a traditional Greek staple. It’s made from pasteurised milk, commonly from sheep and goats, although sometimes it can be just sheep’s milk.
Although traditional sheep milk feta is made with animal rennet, we want as many people as possible to enjoy it; so Futura’s feta is vegetarian.
It has a distinctive, tangy flavour and is well-known for its crumbly yet firm texture. A versatile little cheese, it’s equally good when used in hot and cold dishes – and for versatility and convenience in any situation, we have a range that we supply as blocks, as well as crumbled or cubed – whatever you need.

Taste & Texture
Tangy, smooth, crumbly with a slight bite
With a creamy white colour, open, cumbly texture and a pleasing, slight crumble when sliced, feta is rich, sharp, tangy, salty, and slightly lactic.
It doesn’t lose its cool when heated, keeping its shape well, but just as easily can be crumbled cold into petite pieces of perfection.
You can enjoy it hot or cold: in a classic Greek salad, a trending baked feta pasta, baked with veg, in wraps and sandwiches, in tarts and quiches, or as the final flourish on a Greek-style pizza.

How it’s made
Authentically made the Greek way
Futura feta is available both as a traditional sheep milk feta as well as a blend of pasteurised sheep and goat’s milk. Not all feta is vegetarian because the classic way to make it is with animal rennet; however, all our feta is vegetarian.
It has been made according to PDO requirements since 2002 and aged in brine for a minimum of 60 days, which is crucial for developing its characteristic flavour and texture.
We work with a range of partner dairies across Greece, so we can offer you a range of formats and pack sizes, depending on what you need.
