we’re in a great position to identify new developments in consumer & flavour trends, and then create new products.

Halloumi zaalouk - aubergine and tomato dip, crusty bread and a fork

Founded in 1993, Futura Foods started small with a big ambition to bring new, sun-filled European dairy products to the UK, to meet growing interest and demand for cheeses that were anything but ordinary.

Our range expanded quickly, and we were the first UK cheese importer to supply mainstream consumers with scale PDO feta from Greece and halloumi from Cyprus.

Futura was a leader in the organic revolution and in Italian and especially the food manufacturing channel; we earned a reputation for great creativity as well as great connections.

Not ones for sitting on our laurels, we developed more ways to bring the UK a wide range of continental cheeses in a wide range of formats, such as barrel-aged feta, mild sheep feta, saganaki, and Italian speciality cheeses, as well as low-fat salad cheese options.

Always innovating, we provided orders in mixed pallet deliveries, saving time and increasing convenience for our customers.

The Nordex Generation

In 2013, Danish dairy company Nordex Food joined Futura Foods, bringing with them years of expertise and new insights to take us in exciting new directions.

Becoming part of the Nordex family has enabled us to become a melting pot of cultures and leverage our manufacturing experience, knowledge and investment for future growth.

We’re very proud of our roots and the welcoming feel that comes from being a Danish-owned family business. Our close-knit team has grown with us, and we take great pride in supporting each other to the benefit of you, our customer.
