Quality is not only in the cheese we source, but in the total service and experience we provide to our customers. Our technical team is extremely experienced and builds on a range of expertise covering specification creation, artwork management and manufacturing best practise.
Providing a best in class customer experience is incredibly important to Futura. We regularly monitor service level performance to ensure we consistently exceed our target of 98.5% of all cases, delivered on time and in full. Each customer has a designated, named customer service contact should they have any questions or issues regarding any deliveries. Through use of our third party logistics partners we are able to provide a consolidated delivery service across seven days a week on both chilled and frozen products.
Our passionate product sourcing and buying team is split between our UK operations, group headquarters in Denmark and in-country specialists based in Greece, Cyprus and Italy.
Through our group purchasing team we benefit from the scale and strength of being the largest exporter of cheese from Greece and Cyprus respectively.
Local expertise and relationships are critical and out team deals with our suppliers in their native language and cultures. The team works in close cooperation with our commercial teams to ensure that we source the products that best match our customers briefs, provide inspiration for new development ideas or bespoke tailormade product development. We pride ourselves on creating long term relations with our selected European suppliers built on mutual trust.
“Whether it is a niche added value innovation or scale volume core retail line the satisfaction from selecting and developing products that match customers and consumers needs is immense.”
In order to provide our customers and consumers with a range that meets their needs, Futura work collaboratively with 75 suppliers in 14 countries across Europe. All supply chain partners including suppliers, hauliers and warehouses, are actively managed to ensure that food safety and integrity is maintained. We manage the total supply chain though our specialist team and hold stock in the UK. Forecasts and manufacturing lead times are combined to ensure that stock is consolidated and ordered so that our customers can order our full range on a lead time to suit their business needs.
We enjoy finding new solutions for our customers. We work with our customers to identify their needs and requirements, whether this be functional, performance or budget related.
We are working continuously to develop new products and ideas to cater to the latest food trends and flavours, to ensure we add value and flexibility to your menu.

We are increasing our focus on our CSR agenda, to positively impact the environmental footprint of our operations, where feasible. Our work with CSR reflects our commitment to the UN Global Compact’s mission and we aim to join our parent company, Nordex Food, in signing up to the compact by 2023.
