Futura Foods are proud to announce the launch of Param Paneer. Paneer is a fresh cheese common in the Indian subcontinent. It is an unaged, non-melting cheese made by traditionally curdling milk with a fruit or vegetable acid such as lemon juice. Our Param Paneer however, is produced in our state of the art dairy in Denmark.
Paneer works perfectly with aromatic Indian-style dishes because it soaks up all of the flavours and spices from the dish. Extremely adaptable, Paneer does not melt when cooked and quickly absorbs the flavours adding a texture and interest to a dish.
Paneer is often added as a source of protein to a curry. Paneer is also a source of calcium. Simply fry the Paneer until golden brown on all sides and then add it into the curry.
Paneer is also superb marinaded as cubes on skewers and makes a great filling for samosa or other wraps. One thing to remember is that Paneer works best when it has some spice around it.
